'An observational study draws inferences about the possible effect of a treatment on subjects [Wikipedia].

The set of drawings engages with acts of drawing and observing in a frame, within a frame.

Arguing that through the development of photography, drawing objects becomes more and more about what can be drawn from objects as enquiry into mark making.

The Land Scope drawings observe personalising line and mark embedded into the classical Golden Mean ratio as framed drawn responses offering scope for observing imaginings, impulses and moments of play in a day.
