I was born in the Netherlands in a village near the sea. My fondest childhood memories are of walks on the beach in stormy weather.
I have moved many times in my life, and very often I lived near water. In Oman I was lucky to have a sea view. Now, after a few more moves... I am living near Lake Geneva. The view of the lake is fascinating. Very often I just sit and watch.
This week I was stunned by the stripes of colour that appear in the water due to wind, clouds and sun.
The drawings are of the water and a small strip of land at the other side of the lake.

Je suis née dans un village près de la mer aux Pays Bas . Mes meilleurs souvenirs d'enfance sont des promenades sur la plage par temps orageux.
J'ai déménagé plusieurs fois dans ma vie, et très souvent j'ai vécu près de l'eau. En Oman, j'avais la chance d'avoir une vue sur la mer.
Maintenant, après quelques déménagements de plus... je vis près du Lac Leman. La vue sur le lac est fascinante. Très souvent, je m'assois et je regarde.
Cette semaine j'étais abasourdie par les bandes de couleur qui apparaissent dans l'eau grâce au vent, aux nuages et au soleil.
Les dessins sont de l'eau et d'une partie de l'autre côté du lac.

I broke an egg every day and was interested in the place of the break.
